Jazz After Death began incubation in a lonely hotel room in San Jose, Costa Rica and reached adolescence in a 5th story Penthouse Apartment in the neighborhood of Metro Station, Pantitlan in Mexico City. Since that time, Jazz After Death has become an aural beacon and home for the musicians who manifested the project.

Songs To Die For is the result of more than 9 years of song writing, and is the culmination of at least 3 lifetimes of individual and collective musical journeys, melodies and poetic verse.
The concept resides in the title. Songs To Die For is a sonic bounty of upbeat & down tempo lyrical masterpieces born from an undisclosed & often subliminal location. The artists involved strive to create a language which transcends the perceived limitation of spoken and written means of communication. Music, after all, is the true international language which everyone understands without possessing the ability to speak. |
